Hello, I'm Rukshan. People call me Shan / Ruky. I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy writing,

I'm currently a Health Informatics Specialist at Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute and living in Switzerland.

I've a degree in Medicine and Biomedical Informatics (Clinical Informatics in some countries). I initially worked as medical doctor and then moved on to working as a Health Informatician for the Ministry of Health Sri Lanka, where I worked in implementing FHIR standards, and improving interoperability in Sri Lanka.

I am interested in

• Using digital health to improve delivery quality healthcare,
